What is our mission?

The SipSak aims to give people who are not able to breastfeed naturally the opportunity to recreate that experience through a simulated feeding process that encourages bonding with their babies! 

What is the problem and solution?

Many people are not able to breastfeed naturally for various reasons and unfortunately, there are many babies who refuse to take a bottle. The SipSak solves this problem with the look and feel of a breast all while using a milk bag inside to allow for a comforting feeding and an opportunity for skin to skin contact thereby creating deeper connections while bonding.

Who is The SipSak for?

The SipSak is great for those who aren't able to breastfeed naturally, those who have experienced a mastectomy, LGBTQ+ parents, adoptive parents and partners/caregivers who want to help with feedings. The SipSak is also great as a teaching tool for professionals such as lactation consultants, IBCLC's, doulas and educators. This product allows them to give real time breastfeeding/chestfeeding techniques to new moms/parents. This allows them to actually feed a baby using any milk the parent chooses and can lead to better education of breastfeeding and more successful feeding journeys. 

How have I reached my audience?

I have been mostly working through Facebook groups and interacting with people. Collecting data and doing market research has been incredibly helpful prior to launch. I focused mainly on getting my working prototype visible, building my company brand and image and relaying my mission to the public. One reel has gone viral through organic reach, garnering over 8 Million collective views currently and thousands of shares. There are so many incredible stories I hear everyday of how The SipSak could have saved someone’s breastfeeding journey or how they know it will help their baby feed. People all over the world ask where they can purchase The SipSak or that they can’t wait to spread the word to their mom group or clients. It's an honor to know i'm helping to empower people and giving them a solution they have been needing so much.

The Global Infant Bottles Market Size Was USD 2.8 Billion In 2021 And Is Projected to Reach USD 4.2 Billion By 2030 according to research. This is a huge opportunity to be the industry leader as we are the only product of its kind on the market. This means that for every need for a bottle, The SipSak would be available. The SipSak is the only lifelike vessel that looks and feels like a breast and gives great benefits like skin to skin contact. Next to breastfeeding, The SipSak would be the better choice as opposed to bottles. Parents are excited because The SipSak mimics a lifelike feeding experience which is incredibly helpful especially for babies who are exclusively breastfed and those who refuse bottles.

Who is The SipSak Team?

My team is small at the moment but mighty. As a former nanny, infant specialist and preschool teacher, I personally have hands on experience with the needs of new parents and the impact that feeding time has on babies. As an inventor, I was able to tap into firsthand experiences for inspiration and realistic problem solving. One of my team members is a doula and mother of 6 who exclusively breastfed all of her children. Her expertise and real life experiences have given invaluable insight to the needs of both parents and professionals. I know it takes a village and I would greatly appreciate help in funding a dream of helping empower women and parents across the globe.
